- Massage requires time and tranquillity – take a break and do not look at the clock or your mobile phone. Massage is both mindfulness and enjoyment!
- Always massage in the direction of the muscles, never against the fibres. As a general rule for full-body massage, always massage towards the heart. For delicate facial massages, such as with our new GuaSha woods, the direction is not important.
- Light strokes or stronger pressure? It is okay if you feel slight pressure or even very slight pain when stimulating lymph flow or performing fascia massages, for example. However, the face should always be massaged very carefully, especially around the eye area.
The material: Wood is warm and firm and massages specific areas intensively. Examples: massage rollers or GuaSha woods. Brushes with natural fibres or straps, such as our new massage strap, complement the massage with an exfoliating effect and stimulate blood circulation – wonderful after a bath or during a sauna treatment.
